Gossip sites and even the nightly news are reporting that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon have gotten engagaed and then married in what is being called an impulsive wedding on a small island in the Bahamas where Mariah has a crib. Even more, the two are reported to only have started dating two months ago while Nick was directing and starring in her video.

Mariah is 39 and on her second marriage under questionable circumstances, she married the head of her record label Tommy Mottola when she 23. The couple stayed married for four years. She was linked to Derek Jeter for a period, but other than that, her lovelife has remained very private.

Cannon on the other hand, has been involved with Christina Millian, Kim Kardashian and was engaged to Victoria Secret model Selitia Ebanks for a time last year. Now, he has married a woman 11 years his senior who just happens to be one of the most famous women on the face of the Earth...some guys have all the luck!

This is the strangest thing since Usher married that thing. I wonder if Da Brat gave Mariah away, was the best man or caught the bouqet or garter?
