Q Parker is Ready to Share The MANual

For years, Q Parker stood next to Slim, Mike and Daron as a member of the group 112.
These days, he’s looking to take his place alongside Trey Songz, Tyrese, Raheem Devaughn, and Anthony Hamilton as he embarks on a solo career post-112. Ultimately, the goal is to be mentioned in sentences with Luther Vandross, Al Green, Teddy Pendergrass and Marvin Gaye, authors of timeless love and the architects of the blueprint Parker has followed on his way to creating The MANual, his debut solo project and valiant attempt to restore romance to R&B.

“Show You How” is the lead single from the forthcoming album and is a return to love, a classic love song directed towards a woman Parker feels is being taken for granted by the man she loves and he vows that he can and will do better. The song seems metaphorical for a void Q (and many others) believes R&B has right now, life beyond the club and bedroom, actual relationships between men and women. Something the devoted husband and father knows well, he’s been the pen behind many of 112’s hits, as well as Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated” and Kevin Lyttle’s “Turn Me On” and is using this opportunity to not only endeavor to bring us back to love, but fully showcase his ability as well.
